peace of mind for employees
and their families
Research suggests that more than two-thirds of people in the UK don’t have a Will. Many people believe they are either too young to have a Will, that it’s too expensive or that they don’t have enough money or property to make writing a Will worthwhile.
The reality is that dying without a Will can make what is already a difficult time a lot harder for your family. You risk depriving your spouse or partner of their home, increasing any potential inheritance tax liability and leaving your estate in the wrong hands. With a younger family, in addition to having to deal with the loss of a parent or parents’, children are also faced with other problems. For example, they may have to move to a new house or change school; they may even be taken into care whilst social services appoint a suitable guardian.
If you haven’t yet made your Will now is the time to act; especially if you have children. Do not leave it until tomorrow, life is uncertain and ‘tomorrow’ won’t come for an unfortunate few of us.

Do I need a will?
A common mistake is to think that because you do not have considerable savings or property, you do not need to make your Will. This is simply not true, everybody should make a will, it just makes the process of administration much simpler for all involved. Also, if you have a younger family and the worst happens, in addition to having to deal with the loss of a parent or parents’ children are also faced with other losses to contend with. For example, they may have to move to a new house or change school; they may even be taken into care whilst social services appoint a suitable guardian.
I have an existing Will, can I update it for free?
Yes, absolutely. We actively encourage a review of your existing circumstances; legislation and family landscape can evolve relatively quickly and an appointment with one of our advisors will clear it up.
What other services do you offer?
We deal with many other financial and legal services, from Powers of Attorney to probate and tax. It is because over the years many clients return for these other services that we are able to provide the Will without charge.
